As a Technical Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing cross-functional areas of product development. This person will be an essential liaison between business, engineering, support teams and our clients. In partnership with the delivery managers, the Technical Project Manager will manage all aspects of projects through the full software development lifecycle. We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who has strong experience in delivering complex projects, takes initiative, collaborates well and welcomes a challenge.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly scoped and prioritized so implementation can occur efficiently and on schedule
  • Liaise and coordinate between technical and non-technical team members

Who you should be:

  • Thorough knowledge of project management concepts, techniques and support tools such as Jira and Confluence and experience scoping projects, estimating effort and establishing timeline

We’re looking for a Data Collection Software Engineer to tackle the more difficult, mission-critical, web crawling processes that we encounter. Our systems are designed to crawl the web, store and index results, monitor trends over time, and automatically and anonymously interact with websites and phone applications.

The team is using tools like Python and MySQL and your work will draw on your expertise with pretty much everything driving the modern internet, including HTML, Javascript, CSS, iOS, and Android.

What you'll be doing: 

  • You’ll be tasked with using a well-developed, in-house crawling framework to find and extract structured information from a variety of sources.
  • You’ll need to put yourself in the shoes of a website’s developers and reverse engineer how it functions, figuring out paths around the obstacles that the opposing developers have set up.
  • Because websites are in a constant state of change, you’ll be responsible for monitoring and maintaining those spiders to ensure their continual operation.

Who you should be:

  • Once someone gives you a puzzle, you can’t stop until it’s solved. You’re an excellent debugger and problem solver. The knowledge and understanding of how things work is what drives you.
  • Someone who is intrigued by a new website interaction or process. You imagine how it could apply in a multitude of situations. You want to know how it works.
  • You can envision the approach and process a developer went through when building a website or application. That kind of reverse engineering comes naturally to you - you see the pieces of the whole.
  • You care more about the tactical approach to a problem and pay close attention to the details.

As a Data Engineer, you will be managing billions of records of open source data. You’ll need to be able to evaluate incoming data, perform specialized hygiene, and standardize it for consumption by multiple processes. We are seeking a Natural Language Processing Data Scientist to join our diverse team.  You will be using your natural language processing and machine learning expertise to research, develop and integrate state-of-the-art text processing methods into our tools and analysis.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Utilize statistical natural language processing to mine unstructured data and create insights
  • Analyze and model structured data using advanced statistical methods and implement algorithms and software needed to perform analyses
