  • You should be proficient with JavaScript (React/Angular), HTML, CSS, and Python (or similar languages), backend familiarity is a plus, and should have a wide range of experience with modern web development techniques

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer to join our team. This person will be responsible for securing enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; preparing security standards, policies, and procedures.

What you'll be doing.

  • Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; research information security standards; conduct system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; study architecture/platform; identify integration issues; prepare cost estimates
  • Plan security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; develop requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; design public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhere to industry standards
  • Review technical designs and functional requirements to identify areas of Security weakness
  • Conduct and/or review penetration tests, dynamic vulnerability assessments and static vulnerability assessments

Who you should be.

  • Knowledge of standard network model and the risks that present at each layer, the functions of network equipment such as switches, routers, firewalls, proxies, vpn, and load-balancers, and to understand network architecture
  • In depth knowledge of application, network and platform security vulnerabilities. Ability to explain these vulnerabilities to developers
  • Working knowledge of the primary operating systems (Unix, Windows, z/OS, Mac OS), the configuration and management of that platform at an enterprise scale, the security risks to that platform, and how to mitigate those risks.

In this role, you will help enable the transition of cutting edge AI, ML and NLP research from thought to implementation. What you'll be doing.

  • Act as a full-stack everything: data scientist, engineer, and customer liaison
  • Operate and extend the capabilities of our platform to deliver production-grade data curation and analysis services
  • Own end-to-end data workflows and develop deep domain expertise on the underlying actors and behaviors manifested through data
  • Visualize and explore data sets to enable the ideation and generation of new, predictive feature

Who you should be.

  • 3+ years of experience building solutions using data science, machine learning, NLP-based algorithms
  • Ability to retrieve, process and manipulate large data sources in an efficient and effective manner
  • Understanding of NLP topics: event and topic detection, relation, and extraction; pattern detection; entity recognition; semantic role labeling; and clustering and classification models.
  • Previous experience with machine learning and NLP tools, especially modern ML tools (e.g. TensorFlow, Torch, Theano, Caffee, Numpy, Scipy).
  • Strong programming experience, preferably Python or similar language
  • Demonstrated experience highlighting innovation, creativity, and intuition (e.g. ability to identify new sources of useful information and think 'outside the box')
